The newly designed pedestrian bridge over the Zeljeznica river near OBI connects the residential zone (Peyton settlement) on the right and the industrial zone (Vreoci settlement) on the left bank of the Zeljeznica river. The pedestrian bridge is designed as a combined system consisting of a suspended bridge with a reinforced concrete superstructure with one reinforced concrete pylon (height 20.00 m) and oblique cables, and arched structure. By applying arched structural elements on the part of the load-bearing structure of the bridge, the idea of merging the old idea of a Roman bridge with new ideas and principles in the construction and design of bridges was realized. In this spirit, new and old design forms have been applied together, which in compliance with the use of modern materials and the principles of construction form a harmonious unity. Vertical alignment of the bridge is in a vertical curve, and the level of the bridge itself is in line with the hundred-year-old high-water level of the Zeljeznica river and the structural height of the suspended superstructure. The static length of the bridge is 64.87 m. The total length of the bridge is 92.65 m, taking into account arched part of the superstructure. The superstructure is a reinforced concrete slab of rectangular cross section.
An integral part of the suspended bridge is reinforced concrete superstructure, a concrete pylon and high-grade steel tensions. Tensions are the basic load-bearing structural element and consist of a calculated number of cables. The bridge has 6 tensions in total, whose anchoring is achieved through a steel slab concreted into the superstructure and pylon, and into the concrete rib on the abutment.

In order to improve, but also to emphasize the visual characteristics of the bridge, it is planned to install LED lighting which emphasizes the contours of the bridge and its structural elements. An integral part of the aesthetic characteristics of the bridge is the horticultural arrangement of the access zones of the bridge, within which it is planned to arrange part of the surrounding terrain, install urban equipment and furniture, and plant trees and low vegetation.
